Launching a Self‑Funded Start-up in a Recession, with Ray Freeman

Ray is the founder and director of Protech Solutions, an integrated security solutions business specialising in physical security and commercial cleaning services. With extensive experience in Australia’s facility services industry, Ray returned to New Zealand in late 2023 to launch his self‑funded startup, which now employs around 50 guards primarily operating in the Bay of Plenty region.
