eccuity Invest is an online brokerage service facilitating the trading of US equities and ETFs and select Cryptocurrencies for New Zealand residents. Operational since May 25, 2022, the service is delivered through a web dashboard and associated investment technologies via an affiliated entity, eccuity Limited.
Registered as a Financial Services Provider on the Financial Service Providers Register, eccuity Invest provides access to broking services together with operating a money or value transfer service. The commitment to regulatory compliance is steadfast, ensuring adherence to applicable industry rules.
Our Services
eccuity Invest does not provide financial advice to users. The platform equips users with powerful tools for self-directed investing. In provision of information, the company does not make any recommendation or provide any opinion as to acquisition or disposal of any financial products.
Services are designed to facilitate informed decision-making through provision of factual information only. The company does not engage in activities such as managing money or investment portfolios on a customer's behalf or provide any form of financial, taxation, or legal advice.
Furthermore, the company does not guarantee any specific investment outcomes. Users are encouraged to exercise their own judgment in making investment decisions, seeking independent professional financial advice prior to making any investment to ensure it is appropriate for their unique circumstances.

Limitations on Our Services
eccuity Invest does not provide financial advice. The tools empower users for self-directed investing at a cost-effective level, allowing them to make informed decisions. The Platform's functionalities include grouping assets and scheduling orders as per user requirements.

Fees and Expenses
eccuity Invest charges fees for specific services, clearly outlined on the Pricing Page. From stock and ETF trade fees to a subscription offering (eccuity Private), all applicable fees are transparently communicated to avoid any surprises.

Current Fee Schedule
- Stock and ETF Trade Fees — 0.4% maximum with fees as low as 0.2% of order value
- Interest on Cash Balances — A 50/50 revenue share with Alpaca of all cash held in $USD
- Payment for Order Flow — A 50/50 revenue share with Alpaca
- Spread on Crypto Transactions 0.75% — a 50/50 revenue share with Alpaca
- Foreign Exchange for $NZD Deposits and Withdrawals — 1% — a 50/50 revenue share with either Wise.com or Ebury.com
- Subscription offering for eccuity Private which enables users access cheaper transactions and other premium services and features
Other Costs that may apply
- Withdrawing Crypto: 0.5%
- Minimum Crypto Withdrawal: $50
- Depositing U.S. Dollars directly: $5
- Domestic (US) Wire Transfers (Outbound): $25
- International Wire Transfers (Outbound): $50
Note that eccuity does not make anything from these above costs.
Conflicts of Interest, Commissions or Other Incentives
eccuity Invest's affiliations, including being wholly owned by Maddition Limited and utilizing eccuity Limited's technology, are transparently disclosed in the eccuity Invest New Zealand Limited Terms and Conditions. Alpaca Securities LLC, the broker-dealer partner, provides the trading infrastructure.

Complaint Handling and Dispute Resolution

Process Details
- All complaints will be considered in accordance with the internal complaints handling process.
- Receipt of complaint will be acknowledged within 2 working days of receipt.
- Response to complaints will be provided at the earliest possible time, but no later than 14 working days from receipt.
- To facilitate effective investigation, the organization may reach out directly to seek additional information.
- Customers will be contacted via email or in writing regarding the investigation outcome.
- If the complaint cannot be resolved, or if no reasonable response is provided within 40 working days of lodging the complaint, customers can contact Financial Dispute Resolution Service, the external independent dispute resolution provider.
